Bella Valle Wines
In Italian “Bella” means beautiful and “Valle” means valley, the name Bella Valle Wines was carefully chosen by the Del Bondio-Poncia Family, third generation Italian-Americans, to describe the wines they proudly produce in beautiful Napa Valley, California. 2008 Gewurztraminer
Gewurztraminer originally comes from the village of Tramin in Italy, The main aroma from Gewurztraminer is one of fresh lychee fruit. The grape exhibits other spice as well – the name derives from the German word Gewurz, which means ‘spiced’. Because of its strong aroma, it is one of the few wines that holds up particularly well when paired with spicy foods including Asian and Indian cuisines.
2008 Pinot Grigio
Pinot gris is a white wine grape variety, thought to be a mutant clone of the Pinot Noir grape, it normally has a grayish-blue fruit, accounting for its name (“gris” meaning “grey” in French) but the grape can have a brownish pink to black and even white appearance. Pinot Gris wines can be light to medium bodied with a yellow to copper-pink color. It is a crisp white wine that is intended to be consumed early on, the texture is worth noting, as it has very smooth, almost silk-like overtones that leave an impression on the palate. Pinot Grigio pairs nicely with seafood, light pastas and cheese cracker combinations.

Chenin Blanc offers high acidity combined with a touch of viscosity – leaving a wonderful mouth feel.
